THE MAP, THE VEHICLES, THE JOURNEY
We provide you with a map which is a system for making the changes you seek. The map guides you through identifying the roadblocks that are in the way. Roadblocks include your limiting beliefs and emotions that are holding you back. Examples include, “I can’t do it.” or “I’m not good enough”.
Many roadblocks are subconscious meaning you aren’t aware of what they are. But that’s okay because the map will reveal the roadblocks so that you can use the vehicles (tools) to remove them.
Once you have the map and the vehicle, the journey is up to you to take. You have to do the work. There is no magic pill and no one can take the journey for you. But we are here to hold your hand and make sure that you get there!
HOW TO GET STARTED
#1. UNDERSTAND THE MAP
The map is our guide on how we go about aligning our mind, body, and energy systems to create the changes we seek. In the map to the right, you will see that there are four areas that we focus on to resolve any issue. They are past events, beliefs + emotions, the problem, and the behavior.
By applying the tools (EFT, etc.) to all of the areas on the map, we take a holistic approach to making the changes you seek. This results in real, lasting changes because we resolve the problem at both the symptom level and the root-cause level. This is our approach whether you take an online program or work with Amy privately. It's thorough and it works!
WHAT THE MAP MEANS
The Problem is whatever you are working on - it could be anything including stress, anxiety, self-esteem, body image issues, relationship issues, career issues, etc.
Behaviors are the things that we do as a result of our problem. For example, if our problem is anxiety, the behavior could include avoiding social situations, biting nails, or drinking too much alcohol to try and feel better.
Beliefs + Emotions are what ultimately cause our problem. Many times these are subconscious meaning, we are not consciously aware of what they are. To continue with the anxiety example, beliefs and feelings such as "Nobody likes me" or "I'm not smart" can cause a person to feel anxious.
Past Events are the life experiences that a person has that cause them to take on beliefs and feelings that then lead to the problem. For example, the time that you were the only kid not invited to the birthday party when you were 7 years old caused you to take on the belief that "Nobody likes me" (belief + feeling) which then leads to feeling anxious (the problem) in social situations (behavior).
#2. UNDERSTAND THE TOOLS
The tools are our vehicles for taking us on the journey. Sometimes you may feel like walking, other times maybe riding a bike, and still other times you may want to drive a car. That's why we believe in not using one tool only. We primarily use three tools - EFT-TAPPING, GUIDED MEDITATION, and AFFIRMATIONS. Learn all about them below.
